| so which is it? Quaility? or cheap? You can't have both. 2, do what I did. buy cheap, skip on 'quality'. would like at least 75 per channel. this is humorous. you want quality, but skip on the real data that matters. # MOSFET Power Supply-Yes # Total Harmonic Distortion-<0.05% # Signal/Noise Ratio-103 dB I chose the Profile amps for two reasons. One, I've had them in my jeep for over ten years. They have never gone into thermal protection, even with the limited air cooling I have. Two, they are cheap and easy to replace if they get ganked. Best of all, the thieve make off with shit too. I installed profile amps in the Z as well. Since sound quality is secondary to stealth, I knew I'd have a great amp (see the data above). People who buy $9,000.oo amplifiers are only fooling themselves. When the car is moving on the road, there is far more noise created then what the amplifier is creating. If you sit in your driveway listening with the windows and doors shut, and engine off... then you may be a redneck... wait, i mean, you may want to drop serious coin on decent equipment. If you drive around and listen, get cheap amps. FWIW, I spent coin on my speakers, since they actually do the work. And no one steals speakers anymore. Especially if you can't see them.
